In this release there are several changes, including password length increase, 2FA via email for zone 3 customers, update to UK security model, improvements to file uploads, several improvements to Compartments and many bugs fixes.
Password Length Increased to 15 Characters
As part of our authority to operate with Defence we are required to increase password length to a minimum of 15 characters. This change will be phased in as people's passwords expire, reducing the impact on Local Administrators.
Email Two Factor Authentication Now Available for Login from Secure Locations
A number of our customers use Kojensi within secure physical environments that restrict the use of mobile devices. Kojensi now has the ability to use email as the second authentication method in this instance. You can use your Oracle Mobile Authenticator as a primary authentication method and switch to email authentication as required.
United Kingdom Security Model Update
An amendment was made to the Defence Security Principles Framework last year regarding the handling of OFFICIAL:Sensitive. Previously, the equivalency mapping in Kojensi was UK-OFFICIAL:Sensitive aligned to Australian - PROTECTED classification.
The new mapping is now, UK-OFFICAL:Sensitive is equivalent to Australian OFFICIAL:Sensitive classification.
Note: All files with either marking are not changed. The access may be changed, and the equivalency mapping in the file information panel will reflect the above mapping.
File Upload Size Limit Increased - from 3GB to 5GB
You can now upload one or more files with a combined file size up to 5GB in size.
File Upload Improvements
When uploading multiple files, a single failed upload no longer stops the entire process. Successful files will now upload as normal, and only the blocked file will be rejected.
Improved Export Control/ITAR functionality and a streamlined user interface
The Compartment Manager can now view the licence document for a compartment, making it easier to see what licence is currently displayed for the Compartment members.
This release includes over 30 improvements to compartments, user interface, messaging and notifications.
Bug Fixes
This release includes 30+ bug fixes focusing on enhanced usability, reliability, and overall user experience. Key fixes include:
- Tooltips have been refined for greater clarity and consistency across Kojensi.
