In this release there is a new back button to the QR code when registering your 2FA, ability to complete MFA via the desktop, resend or withdraw orphan Workspace requests, and a number of bug fixes.
Adminspace
System Role downgrade and changing Workspace permissions
When you successfully downgrade a users system role from either General User or Workspace Creator to a Guest User, Kojensi will automatically change that users roles in all Workspaces they are a member of to Viewer. The user will receive an email and app notification to advise them of the change.
NOTE: A users system role can only be downgraded if the user doesn't own any files and/or Workspaces. If they do, you will receive an error message. The ownership of all files and Workspaces must be managed, prior to the downgrade being enabled.
Changing a users role from either Workspace Creator or General User to a Guest User.
Kojensi will prevent Local Administrators from converting a User who owns any files and/or Workspaces to a Guest User. File and Workspace ownership will need to be transferred prior to being able to downgrade their system role. This change will also automatically change any Guest User who owns files and/or Workspaces, to a General User, who will be automatically added back to your billable user count.
NOTE: If a user account is suspended, no change will take place.
WARNING: If you have users who own files and/or Workspaces and are currently Guest Users, they will be upgraded back to a General User. This will add to your current billable user total (excluding users with a suspended status).
Orphaned Workspaces
You will now be able to resend and withdraw invitations to users to take over an orphaned Workspace. This also resolves the issue of when you had previously sent an invite and the user could no longer see the notification. When you went to resend the invite it would say that you had already sent it. This new functionality will resolve this issue and allow for an invitation to be resent.
Sub organisations no longer seen in the Available Organisations tab
If you have sub organisations, the only people who will see them will be your Local Administrators under your Kojensi SaaS tenancy. They will no longer be visible under the Available Organisations tab.
Two Factor Authentication via desktop app
Users can now download the Oracle Mobile Authenticator app to their desktop and authenticate without the need for a mobile device. This is especially useful for our customers with security restrictions that don't allow for mobile devices on premise. For further instructions please read this KB article.
There is also now a Back button when a user is activating their Kojensi account and accidently skip the QR code.
A number of general bug fixes and enhancements including Audit Log improvements have also been completed in this latest release.
